Build 183 Enhancements:

Photo Tag Editor
The Photo Tag Editor is used in conjuction with photos inserted into the inspection with the 'Add Issue Photo' or 'Add Comment Photo' commands.  This editor will allow you to make adjustments to the [PHOTO] tag time stamps to try and achieve a higher matching percentage.  This is useful if you forget to synchronize your camera and PC clocks prior to starting your inspection.

PDF Documents!
I know many of you have requested and been waiting patiently for this.  We got tired of trying to resolve the licensing issue so we have moved forward with a partial implementation.  What this means is that you can add PDF documents to Settings/Documents and include them in your Binders.  After adding a PDF document and selecting it in the document list, you will not be able to preview that document within Interspect Voice.  Instead, you will have a button at the bottom right of the screen that you can click to open the PDF document in Acrobat Reader.

New Inspection Fields
Several new fields have been added to the order form under an inspection.  These include:

• Title Company - Allows you to select/add a new company to the Associates module.  Note: Create a new company type called 'Title Company' to organize these new companies
• Closing Date - This is useful if you won't be collecting payment until the closing of the sale transaction
• Vacant - Used to indicate if the home is going to be vacant during the inspection
• Foundation Type - List Manager field for defining and selecting foundation types
• Payment Due - List Manager field for identifying when the payment is expected
• Payment Method - List Manager field for selecting how the inspection will be paid for without having to create a payment against the inspection
• Appointment Date and Time - These fields can be used to schedule an appointment time with your client that is different than the scheduled inspection date and time.
• Access Code - Field for capturing the access code for getting into the house

Report Fields
Added several to fields to the Report Fields picker for including in Documents, Contracts, Headers, Footers, etc.  These fields include:

• Title Company
• Closing Date
• Vacant
• Foundation Type
• Payment Due
• Payment Method
• Appointment Time
• Appointment Date
• Access Code

New Order Form Report
We have redesigned the order form to include new fields and provide a cleaner report layout.

Email Templates!
We have added a new module under Settings for defining one or more email templates.  These templates allow you to create the email messages that can have Report Fields embedded in them so they are personalized when sent.  There is also a new preference under Settings/Preferences/Email allowing you to select the default Email Template that is loaded into the email dialog be default.

Redsigned Settings/Preferences
The Preferences page was getting rather lengthy so we have redesigned this page to break each section out onto a tab.  Additionally, there is a new Email tab for cofiguring email settings.  See below.

Server Side Email and Much More!
You asked for it so here it is.  You now have the ability to configure Interspect Voice to send email messages using an online SMTP server instead of use a MAPI client like Outlook.  If you have not been able to send email messages directly from Interspect Voice, you probably use POP/SMTP mail hosted on a server and check/send your email using a web client.  Simply configure the server settings under the new Settings/Preferences/Email tab and you can send email directly through your hosted email account.  Also, when sending your email through a hosted server account, your email messages can be sent in HTML format.

Included in the email enhacements is the ability to specify the format of the attachment file name and subject.  You can alse configure Interspect Voice to blind copy yourselft and request a read receipt.  Note:  Not all email clients will respond to a read receipt request so you might not get a read receipt confirmation message back.   Also, when the Email dialog is displayed, the default email template will be loaded with any Report Fields merged with information from the inspection.  You can select a different template and before sending the message.

Item Attributes/Type Enhancements
You can now delete attributes/types on the attribute manager dialog and also change the order that the defined attributes/types appear when selecting.

Photo Libarary Enhacements
The photo library has been enhanced to display the number of thumbnails loaded.  The number can be found on the tab name.  If your camera supports Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP), you can now download pictures directly into the Photo Library without having to go to your hard drive first.  This may not have been a problem for you if your camera was assigned an drive letter under My Computer, but those using newer Canon cameras will appreciate this new functionality.

To load pictures directly from the camers, navigate to any screen that supports Inspection photos (Intspection Detail) and plug your camera into the USB port.  Depending on your computer configuration, Windows may display a dialog asking what your want to do with the newly detected camera. Simply click the cancel button on the Windows dialog.  Interspect Voice will detect the camer and ask if you want to select and download pictures from the camera.  When you click Yes, you will be presented a dialog that shows thumbnails of all the images on the camera.  You can select one or more photos and they will be loaded directly into Interspect Voice.

General Preferences
Added new preferences for turning on/off the leading zeros when generating Prefix-Sequential inspection numbers.  Also added a new preference called Default Note Type that allows you to specify which note block is displayed when you first enter the Inspection Items page.  You can select Comment or Issue.

Save Images from Interspect Voice
You can now save images back out of Interspect Voice to your hard drive.  Double-click on an image in the Image Library to open it in the Photo Editor.  Click the Save As button on the bottom right to save it back to your hard drive.  You can also select to include the annotation!

Payment Status Enhancements
At the request of several inspectors, we have added two to payment status values for inspections.  When the inspection is first created and there is not a price established, the payment status for the inspection will be 'New'.  If you discount the inspection fee 100% by entering zero for the total fee, the payment status will be 'Free'
